Nothing Like It..

What a great weekend. Paige had her first swim class and she was the cutest thing ever! She just loved it, my little "shrimp"! That's what they call the children in her age category at the Y. She loves bath time so I knew she would like the water but she loved it. I just looked at her in the water with daddy and couldn't believe how big she has gotten.  I want it to slow down, its gone way too fast. I took soo many pictures and can't wait until this weekend to be in the pool with her.

Weather was just gorgeous yesterday!  82 was the high in TR. Just a little taste of summer and right back to the chilly wet weather way too quickly.  They say, April Showers bring May flowers. Let's hope so because I want Spring and Summer weather soon! I want to take Paige to the park on the swing and slide. She is going to Storytelling at the Library again tomorrow. She loves when you read to her and they sing songs and have puppets..really cute for her. She is a busy bee.

Easter is right around the corner and I can't believe Paige will be 7 Months a few days before that on the 21st- 7 Months!  I can't believe that.  She isn't crawling at all yet but she tries a bit here and there.  Her legs are so strong and she loves to stand for a long time if you hold her hands.   She has been using her walker so much more now, still not a sprinter but she is a woman on the move!

Everyday there is something new to smile about when it comes to Paige, I just love her so much. What a wonderful feeling to be a mommy, there is nothing like it.  It quickly brings you back to whats really important in life. Good day Cyberworld..

Where's the Sunshine?

Where or where are you Mr. Sunshine?  It has been so ugly and rainy here in New Jersey and I am tired of this cold weather.  Spring is here and yet I can't seem to get good weather for some well deserved walks for Paige. Paige has her first swim class tomorrow and we are so excited for her.  It will be nice to see how she reacts in the pool at the YMCA.  She also has another one of her gymboree classes right after that.  She will be a very busy young lady tomorrow.

I did a few little crafts for her since I have been home.  I made a few flower clips for her and a bow.  They came out pretty good considering it was my first time giving it a try.  I figured its something nice I can do for my little lady..Maybe I'll make enough to start selling some, lol. I am also going to try to create some car seat covers for her and to sell.  I am excited about it and it will be something new that I can do with and for her. I used the hot glue gun for the first time ever.  Surprised I didn't get burned but I handled it pretty good considering.

I went to Shoprite today and realized how expensive groceries are now a days.  I remember when I used to shop for us a few years ago and I could but a ton for less then $140 and I can't seem to go to the store without at least spending near $200 and it's just Rich and I, Paige too.
Gas to fill up the truck today was ridiculous, $50.03!! REALLY..What's going on these days, I just hate it.

I can't believe Japan got hit again yesterday.  It's so sad and I keep everyone in need in our prayers and pray that they have a light at the end of the tunnel.  These natural disasters are so devastating and I am a nervous wreck about something happening here.  God forbid something happened, Paige wouldn't be able to grow up and see all the good things life has to offer her.  I think so differently now that I have a child.

I wish everyone a good and safe night! Until next time my friends.

Spring is here!

Wow, we finally have some  beautiful weather today. Paige loved going for her walk and looking at the trees blowing in the wind.  The sun is shining and it just akes you feel so good and it's starting to look so nice out there now that Spring is here. We just had Paige's 6 month visit the other day and she has gotten soooo big.  I can't believe that 6 months ago I was in labor and didn't realize how my life would change from that moment on.

Here are a few stats on Paige now:

* You are now 24 inches long
* You now weigh 16 lbs.
* You are talking all the time now, even though mommy doesn't know whatyour saying, we talk together all day
* You now smile at everyone and look at everything because you are so nosey
* You now eat 2-3 olid meals a day along with your 5 bottle feeds
* You have now eaten chicken, flounder and veal with your veggies
* You love cheddar cheese and cream cheese too
* You can now drink your juice from a straw too, although you love your sippie cue but prefer our cups instead (such a big girl)
* You now eat yogurt at times and you don't mind it at all
* You eat bread and scrambled eggs too, only a little bit
* You don't mind your car seat too much anymore, you know you're going bye bye and seem to enjoy it at times
 * You now have a pretty busy schedule
* You have Gymboree classes, Storytelling at the library, and swim classes too
* Your hair is really coming in now and you know daddy loves that, he can't wait until he can use a clippy

So many changes in such a short time.  I don't know if anyone knows that my best friend Silla and I have had daughters 2 weeks apart without ever planning it.  I often wonder how that could have happened, we always spoke about having kids together but those things can never be planned.  It has happened that way for a reason and it has brought us so much closer too.  It's nice to know that Paige has a bestie that is only 2 weeks younger and will forever be a part of our lives.  Silla is such a strong woman and I admire her strength each and everyday.  I don't know if I could go through some of the hardships she has had to face in her young life so far.  I only hope that she hangs in there and realizes that God has so much out there for her ad it will come when she least expects it.

We need to treasure that people that are close to us because life is too short to sweat the small stuff.  Keep your head high and know that we are on this earth for a reason, we all have a purpose.  Oprah said something.. We need to hear Gods whispers to us and follow that life that we were meant to have and enjoy while touching others and feeling blessed along the way.  If we don't hear his whisper he will get ouder and if we don't hear him by that point he will break down a wall for us to wake up and do our lifes journey.  We are where we are because of our choices.  If we are not happy with our life and certain aspects of it, we have the power to change it. We have to be happy wth our choices whether others agree with them or not.

Now that Paige is in our lives, I realize that we all need to live our lives for our families and not what others wish we would do or say.  As long as we are happy with where we are, thats all that matters.
